This is a Reed and Barton pattern 3600 covered gravy boat made for the US Navy. It is marked Silver Soldered. I do not have a date for this piece. It is two pieces-a gravy boat and underplate and the matching lid. It is used and shows some scratching and signs of use plus an outward dent inside the bowl.
The gravy boat measures 6.75 by 4 3/8 at the rim. It is about 1.50 inches deep. The underplate is 7.75 inches by 5.50 inches and the entire piece is 4 5/8 inches tall.
There is a ladle cut out in the lid.
Other than the dent inside the bowl, the gravy boat has no dents or other damage and no tarnish. It is marked as shown.
