A stunning antique Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain teapot, hand-painted in richly detailed famille rose enamels. This exquisite export piece features alternating figural and floral panels with birds, butterflies, and peony blossoms surrounded by scrolling vines and gilt highlights.
The traditional cylindrical form includes a curved spout, decorative loop handles at the shoulders (for the original metal handle, now missing), and a domed lid topped with a floral medallion.
Each side displays a vivid tableau of courtly figures and garden scenes — a hallmark of the Qing Dynasty Rose Medallion style that flourished during the mid- to late 1800s.
A rare and collectible piece that adds timeless Chinoiserie charm to any vignette, tea service, or display shelf.
