Artist's Biography:
De Selby (Diane Edith) is a painter who has lived in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky for most of her life. After formal education (BA, MA, Studio Art) and teaching, she established a publishing business that distributed her designs both domestically and internationally. After selling the business, she moved to Wales with her family and welcomed many U.S. visitors to what her husband, Greg, referred to as, "De's Make Your Own Darn Bed and Breakfast!" In Wales and for several years after returning home, she freelanced for Lands' End, Better Homes and Gardens, The Longaberger Corporation, DMC and special interest publications. She started painting full time in her home studio while caring for her dear demented mother Edith (RIP) and now participates in @LexArts projects including the Bourbon Barrel Walk, the Book Bench project, Maker's Mark art bottles on permanent display at the distillery, and Horsemania in Lexington, KY. Her paintings hang not only in residences across the country but in hospitals, libraries, institutions, and businesses.
