Hitchcock country side chairs in the harvest finish with a fruit bowl hand stenciled pattern. The chairs have solid maple seats and elegant backs with turned stiles. All the chairs have hand turned legs and stretchers. The turned spindles and legs are done in a classic bamboo style and show the high quality craftsmanship that Hitchcock put into all their furniture. The chairs show the normal age wear expected of vintage pieces such as light scratches, minor dings, and finish wear from normal daily use. These particular chairs came out of Manheim Pennsylvania. They are from the late ‘20th century The makers mark is stenciled across the back of each seat as shown in the included photos. These chairs would make a nice accent set in most any room. They would also go well with most of Hitchcock’s tables. Please look carefully at the photos as they are an important part of the description. Questions are always welcome. See less
