Vintage Hazel Atlas square refrigerator box/ dish with lid. This is from their criss cross collection and was produced in the United States between 1936 and 1949. Measuring approximately 8.5" square and 3.75" tall, it is unusual for these to be in such superb condition!
No cracks. No chips that I can find- I can't even find any "flea bites." I'm not perfect, but I have searched diligently in natural light visually and I have run my fingers over it.
Just imagine what handmade deliciousness this has held over the decades!
