Mid-century Danish table lamp from Søholm Stentøj, Denmark designed by Svend Aage Jensen. Made circa 1960s to 70s.
The lamp is handmade and made from stoneware. It has a repeated handpainted stylised flower decor in eathy tones.
Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and the color is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
The lamp base is fully marked on bottom with Søholm Denmark, Handmade and SJ (for Svend Aage Jensen)
The lamp is a factory first edition in very good condition.
Measurements:
Height with lampshade: 43,5 cm (17.13") (height can be adjusted)
Height without socket (ceramic part only): 22,3 cm (8.78")
Diameter base: 16,5 cm (6.50")
Diameter with lampshade: 26 cm (10.24")
Light bulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country. This piece has an attribution mark,
