The oval frame is made of spruce wood with finely modelled gesso ornaments and richly carved details. The upper section is crowned by a classical urn with acanthus leaves and ribbons, while the lower part features an elaborately carved eagle motif - a distinctive neoclassical emblem of strength and grace.
The surface shows a refined combination of genuine gold leaf and gold paint, resulting in a beautifully aged and harmonious patina. The mirror plate was replaced at a later date and is clean and functional.
