Comfortable armchair, "Model 1435," designed by the Swiss architect and designer Werner Max Moser (1896-1970). Designed in the 1930s and 1940s. Newer Embru production from before 2000. Werner Max Moser was one of the co-founders of Wohnbedarf AG in 1931. He later joined his colleagues Max Ernst Haefeli and Rudolf Steiger and founded the Haefeli Moser Steiger (HMS) office partnership. Haefeli Moser Steiger was one of the most important Swiss architectural firms of the 20th century. The Zurich University Hospital, the Zurich Congress Center, and the Werkbund housing project "Neubühl" in Zurich-Wollishofen are among their most famous works. Our armchair features two adjustable seating positions, allowing you to sit more upright or comfortably slightly reclined. Chrome-plated tubular steel frame, seat shell made of black-lacquered flat steel, and hardwood armrests, also lacquered black. The original spring-loaded cushions were completely refurbished by a Zurich upholstery studio and are therefore in excellent condition. They have been reupholstered in a dark gray tweed fabric from the Scottish manufacturer Bute. The fabric is made of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. with a Martindale count of 100,000, it has an unusually high abrasion resistance. The seat and back cushion covers are removable. The armrests and tubular steel frame show minimal signs of wear. Overall, the chair is in mint condition. Seat height approximately 35 cm. Location: Steinwiesstrasse.
