This 5x8 vintage Dhurrie rug is an exciting new curation from Rug & Kilim’s latest acquisition of rare and exemplary mid-century flatweaves of the same style—handwoven in cotton in India circa 1950-1960.
On the Design:
Navy blue tones underscore rust, beige and white hues in geometric stripes with a minimalistic yet captivating presence. The positive-negative warm-and-cool element is a playful complement to an otherwise simple, livable design, and keen eyes will admire the sharpness of the geometry in the overall execution of the piece—an excellent find among its kind, in a versatile size with vast applications in hallways, entryways and so much more.
