Restored set of 6 mid century modern solid teak dining chairs, designed by Erik Buck (Buch) and made in Denmark by OD Mobler. The iconic Model 49 dining chair – with its raised knees, exposed finger joints, floating seat, guitar neck hind legs, and soft lines – dates back to the 1960s.
The Model 49 is one of the most influential and reproduced dining chairs in Danish modern decor. A set with armchairs (Model 50) and original tags intact is a rare find.
The frames have been lightly sanded and finished in a durable satin lacquer. The seats and backs have been fully reupholstered in a textured weave from Black Edition’s Kiriko Collection.
