This solid oak kitchen or breakfast dining table could also be a game table, and was crafted in England about 1915. Spiral twist legs are beautiful, there are two 12" wide pull out refectory leaves.

The finish is in very good condition, preserving a few mars for a little antique character, see photos. This antique furniture from England has a paneled top with gaps around the picture frame edges to allow for expansion and contraction. It is in very good cosmetic and working condition. Patina is lovely. Wear is commensurate with 100 year old age.

There's a Dutchman in the table where someone made a small repair a long time ago - so much character!

Measurements when closed are 36" square, 31" tall and legroom is 25 1/2" underneath, length is 5' overall with both leaves extended.

Spiral legs are typical of Restoration and William and Mary pieces. However, it re-emerged during the late Empire and Federal periods and again during the Victorian age. Other names for the spiral leg include the spiral-twist, barley-twist, or barley sugar column, particularly in England. This table is from the Spanish revival period.
