The front with incised decoration divided into 3 panels, each decorated with birds and zoomorphic animals. Gorgeous rich chestnut patina with old repairs and restoration. A prominent hand forged original lock in metal, cut and pierced. Similar piece referenced in Bernardo Ferrao's "Portuguese Furniture from the Early Days to Mannerism" Vol 4.
