Meret Oppenheim surrealistic "Traccia" table, Simon Gavina Srl, Italy, 1970s The eclectic Italian entrepreneur Dino Gavina decided to revisit the famous "Traccia" table together with the surrealist artist Meret Oppenheim for his Ultramobile collection. The upper part of the tabletop is in fine gold leaf, the underside is painted with gold colored paint. This specific table comes from the San Francisco hotel in Lugo (Italy), entirely designed by Gavina and Takahama. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
