Designed by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi for Stilnovo in 1971, the Lampiatta embodies the inventive spirit of 1970s Italian design. This early original production combines playful geometry with practical versatility. The lamp can be used as a table or wall lamp, and the metal diffuser can even be detached for suspension use.
It features a weighted black ABS base with precise cuts that allow the white lacquered metal diffuser to be positioned in various angles, directing light as desired. The design reflects the designers’ focus on flexibility and interaction between user and object.
In good vintage condition, the diffuser shows light scratches and small areas of paint wear consistent with age and use. The base is well preserved and the lamp is fully functional with its original wiring. A collectible example of Italian modern lighting by Stilnovo. This piece has an attribution mark,
