Gorgeous dark wood document or jewelry (jewelery?) box with meticulous brass overlay and centerpiece in a floral design.

9" wide, by 6.25 deep by 2.5 tall.

Gorgeous grain and flowing tones of chestnut, dark brown, and almost British tan.

Fitted with a nice lock with brass cover - missing key but is likely a standard skeleton key.

And the inside is lovely and clean, with fine printers end papers as lining and a thick red velvet floor.

Two strong brass hinges showing no weakness.
