A documented and highly collectible pair of lamp tables designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture, circa 1947. Constructed of solid mahogany in the original factory finish, each table bears the branded Dunbar mark and features Wormley’s signature balance of architectural simplicity and craftsmanship.

This model (catalog no. 28) is featured in Edward Wormley: The Other Face of Modernism and represents Wormley’s early exploration of clean-lined modernism before his later organic forms of the 1950s. The proportions are carefully restrained yet elegant, with an open lower shelf and rich espresso tone that highlights the natural grain.

Condition: Original finish with light wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs on edges and legs. Structurally excellent and presents beautifully.
