Ideas were once drawn, erased, redrawn, and perfected — all with graphite in hand, paper beneath, and a flick of the wrist powered by imagination (and perhaps the five-o’clock martini).
These authentic mid-century fashion advertising sketches from 1960 bear every trace of that process: mark-throughs, ink smudges, white-out, and tiny pinholes from studio walls. Each page is a working original — not polished, not digital, but alive with the energy of its maker.
We imagine them framed in a study, office, private dressing room, or nursery.
