Born Mary Elizabeth Moore in 1922, Molly E. Brubaker was based on California’s Monterey Peninsula and became known for her oil paintings across impressionist, figurative and modernist styles, often capturing quiet, everyday moments with warmth and subtle movement. She lived and worked in the Carmel/Monterey area, and her work was shown in galleries throughout California. A member of the Central Coast Art Association, Brubaker was also known as an avid collector and participant in the regional arts community.
