This is a vintage Drexel Heritage Chesterfield Sofa with a Churchill-style high back.
The upholstery is done in the most unbelievably soft buttery beige leather, tufted along the frame. The seat cushions are not tufted but are paradoxically smooth.
The piece dates to the 1990s, and it has developed a fantastic patina from use. Worn to perfection, yet remaining in great shape.
The sofa has carved wood bun feet that are not so apparent in our photos, but they are indeed there.
Brass studs line the edges in the front of the piece, true to Chesterfield code.
This sofa measures 40 inches deep, 88 inches wide, and 40 inches high. It has a seat eight of 17.5 inches.
