The cast stone top has areas of pooled bronze that are inlaid into voids that are intentional but appear natural and random.
A beautiful handcrafted stone and bronze abstract coffee table by New York artist, Silas Seandel. An impressive, heavy dining/center table from Seandel's "Terra" group of cast stone pieces (this material was refined by Seandel over several years to get the material to function exactly to his specifications). This table was cast in thick circular form with bronze figuring and veining inlaid throughout the cast stone surface. Custom-made, this table is a work of art by a master furniture sculptor.
This table is unmarked. The artist and furniture maker Silas Seandel did not sign all of his work, especially his earlier pieces. He has stated that he did not focus on signing everything initially out of "indifference" and a lack of concern for "legacy". See less
