Rare, hard to find solid brass figural duck fireplace five piece tool set with stand. Incredible find! Duck heads create the handles for each fireplace tool. All tools are heavy, sturdy and in great working condition.
Five piece set includes: tongs/log grabbers, broom, shovel, poker and stand.
Base/stand has an art deco vibe to it with its patterned base. Such an interesting set, and a total conversation starter. Sits perfectly on on hearth of fireplace without wobbling.
This set shows great character and charm. Please see photos showing wear on the duck heads and throughout. In order to preserve its natural patina, this set has not been polished, but has been cleaned up. if you'd like the set to reveal a brighter finish, you could polish with a brass cleaner.
Measurements:
31.5" tall with tools in place, sits on 9" x 5.75" base.
