He was involved in ceramics or the decorative arts in an older sense (ceramic factories), but these are historical homonyms (from the 18th century)—he is not the same contemporary Antonio Ferretti of furniture. He transformed the initial activity of the family business (kilns, building materials) into metalworking and furnishing furniture in Milan. This designer piece of furniture by Antonio Ferretti Milano, created in the 1970s, features a wood and black metal structure enhanced with gold details.
