Joseph Savina was born in Douarnenez and settled in Tréguier, Brittany.
In 1929, he founded a "Celtic Art" workshop in Tréguier (rue Saint-André) to produce furniture and objects blending Breton tradition with modernized forms.
He is renowned for his talents as a cabinetmaker and sculptor, particularly for his ability to integrate Celtic motifs, interlacing, and Breton symbols into furniture with modern lines. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
