Textured brushstrokes create dynamic movement, emphasised by the contrast between the large bouquet and the modest jug, while patches of colour convey the vibrancy of the flowers against the subdued tones of the background.Argov trained in Tel Aviv and later at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, and divided his time between France and Israel between the 1950s and 1970s.
