These lamps from Bitossi fit just as well in a bright and modern home that needs a warm cozy feel, as they do in a home with a bit darker elements.
This pottery is really nice as it looks like a dark type of wood.
The lampbases and the lampshades are in very good condition.
The material is ceramic, which was Londi's primary medium.The color palette in brown and beige is typical of some of his 70s works, especially those aimed at the Nordic market.

After World War II, Londi became the creative director for Bitossi Ceramiche, a role he held for over 50 years.He designed over 1,000 objects, from vases and animal figures to lamps and clocks.
Londi collaborated with several big names, including Ettore Sottsass, Piero Fornasetti, Matteo Thun, and Karim Rashid.His works have become collector's items and are represented at the MAIB – Artistic Industrial Bitossi Museum in Montelupo
.His ceramic lamps from the 1970s, often in earthy colors and with wood-like surfaces, are typical of his Nordic market-adapted style.
Bitossi Ceramiche is an iconic Italian ceramics company with roots that date back to 1921, when it was founded by Guido Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany – an area with a thousand-year tradition in ceramics.
