the lamp has a shiny glaze in deep blue, brown and beige colors. The body of the lamp shows a repeated pattern which seems to be inspired by fish scales. Lovely tactile surface.

the lamp is fully marked on bottom: søholm stentøj bornholm denmark.
incised by hand "sh" or "sm" which most likely refers to the designer. It could be svend hermansen.
as it doesn´t show a model number it could be a unique piece or a piece only made in a very small quantity.

included is a new lamp shade designed and made in denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and the color is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.

the lamp is in very good vintage condition.
