This painting is so striking and adds a sense of calmness, peace and solitude to a room. Artwork is on canvas board and is framed in a tan colored painted wood frame. Painting framed measures 31" x 40.75" x 2.5"

Richly textured using expressive impasto brush strokes in a calming, natural color palette of warm browns, deep greens and golden hue set beneath a blue sky.

Frame has some dents, dings and scratches as shown. This piece could easily be reframed if desired (please reach out if you're interested in a quote for the painting unframed), or the frame can be repainted, or simply hung as is as we have done in our own home. About the artist: D'Annunzio (1915-2012) was a well respected, prolific artist, born in Detroit, MI and raised in Rome, Italy. D'Annunzio studied at the Accademia delle Belle Art in Rome where he mastered his love of painting. Upon returning to America, he joined the United States Army during WWII. D'Annunzio shared his love of art and great talent teaching student artists until the age of 95 years old. His work has been exhibited throughout the US, London and Japan.
