Large Pipistrello table lamp by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce. Originally designed in 1965, this current model features an opal white methacrylate diffuser and a glossy black painted aluminum base with satin aluminum trim. It can be used as a table lamp or a floor lamp, providing diffused light and adjustable height. The telescope is made of enameled stainless steel. The conical base rises in height through the ribs of the diffuser, resembling a bat's wings. The height is adjustable from 24.4" to 33.9". Bulbs not included. This piece has an attribution mark,
