Mobring—one of IKEA’s pioneering in-house designers—created furniture that combined Nordic craftsmanship with functionalist purity, resulting in pieces that remain timelessly relevant today. Each chair features a black lacquered solid pine frame with visible joinery and a sling construction that supports the thick cognac saddle leather seat and backrest. The leather is beautifully patinated, showing rich tonal variations and natural wear that highlight the authenticity of the material.
