Executed in laminated beech with original tan leather upholstery, the chair reflects mathsson’s lifelong exploration of ergonomics, comfort, and organic form. The gently curved frame, flowing armrests, and adjustable head cushion combine with the deeply tufted leather to create a design that is both sculptural and inviting. The accompanying ottoman enhances the chair’s function as a true relaxation piece, making it an ideal example of mathsson’s human-centered approach to modern furniture. Condition: very good original condition with light wear and natural patina to the leather, consistent with age and use.
