Dated and titled on reverse, For Publication in The Saturday Evening Post, Title of Story: The Murder of Little Edmund, Artist: Mike Ludlow, No.: P41348, No. of Pictures: 1 and dated 2-19-60. The work is a very odd combination of characters: a man in a trench coat with a hand puppet, a spotted Great Dane, a woman cloaked in red, a suit of armor, a clear glass pitcher with pussy willows set in what appears to be a basement. A short story murder mystery?
Very good original condition with minor cosmetic wear. Dried adhesive residue on the board that held the white matte board. No visible or major surface paint losses. The image is very bright and the colors are highly saturated.
Board measurements are approximately 15.75" wide x 25.63" high. The sight measurements are approximately 12" wide x 21.5" high.
