This 6x13 vintage Dhurrie runner rug is an exciting new curation from Rug & Kilim’s latest acquisition of rare and exemplary mid-century flatweaves of the same style—handwoven in cotton in India circa 1950-1960.
On the Design:
This flat weave runner enjoys ocean and navy blue tones, which underscore cream white stripes and geometric patterns in a minimalist sensibility. Admirers of the craft will particularly enjoy the tasteful natural abrash in the colors—a handsome look of subtle variety, irreplaceable in a classic, and all the more easy to appreciate in such a fabulous execution of limited colors and simple, soothing repetition.
