A large substantial george iii copper kettle, england circa 1800, entirely hand-riveted and dovetailed.
the design features an elegantly arched brass handle, a stepped lid with acorn, and a gracefully curved spout, characteristic of early 19th-century english domestic craftsmanship.
the piece retains its original tin lining and carries a beautiful warm polished patina. This kettle shows the typical irregularities of hand-hammered georgian copperware — gentle rippling, uneven surface texture, and traces of use from centuries of domestic life. The tin-lined interior is aged and untested for use, intended primarily for decorative display. The exterior finish retains a rich, mellow sheen with visible handcrafted detail.
decoratively, the kettle has a very strong sculptural presence — its scale (33 cm h × 34 cm w) and burnished tone and brilliance make it an exceptional statement for a kitchen, hearth, or home decorating, as it brings depth and warmth to an interior, pairing beautifully with both country and contemporary settings. Perfect on a hearth, sideboard, or kitchen island. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
