Layout: two generous drawers; a hinged door at the lower right opens to two smaller interior drawers. The ironwork includes corner and edge plates, pull handles, and finely shaped lock plates (no key), strengthening the construction and giving the piece its character.

The rich red-chestnut tone contrasts beautifully with the dark iron. Attractive wear and patina reveal its age and lend an authentic wabi-sabi presence.
