"Quadro" lamp by Jacques Adnet, Lumen Center, 1970s. An iconic design from 1929, this lamp is an early model from 1976/77, revived by Gilles Derain, founder of LUMEN CENTER. The lamp is fully original except for the bulbs. The original bulbs are unavailable, but all the electrical components, including the brass spring pins, are preserved as they were in the original 1929 lamp. Of course, the marble, nickel-plated finish, dimmer, and plug are all original. This early model of the "Quadro" lamp by Jacques Adnet is a unique item, very difficult to find. The current reissue of the "Quadro" lamp is from Lumen Center Italia. The lamp is chrome-plated instead of nickel-plated, and the mounting and lighting have been changed to an integrated version with eight LEDs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
