A fine Mexican silver bracelet.

In sterling silver.
With an obsidian rectangular cabochon to each square link creating a stair-step effect around the bracelet.
Marked to the interior with Pineda's makers marks.
Pineda (1919 - 2009) was one of the foremost silversmiths of the 20th Century in the silver mecca of Taxco, Mexico. He apprenticed for William Spratling & Valentin Vidauretta before opening his own workshop in 1939. Pineda had a meteoric rise after his work's inclusion in a 1944 exhibition in California attracted international attention. Pineda would go on to obtain multiple partnerships with various retailers across North America, host exhibitions of his work across the globe, and even add sculpture to his repertoire.
Simply a wonderful Mid-century Modern bracelet from one of Mexico's most renowned silversmiths!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is a small flake to the edge of three of the stones. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some light dings and indentations here and there, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
