The top is framed glass and the inner cases are lined in velvet. They are intended to lay flat on a table or other flat surface. Measurements for these fabulous creations are: Length=36 inches, Width=24 inches, Height from top to bottom=4-1/2 inches. This marvelous pair of two hardwood display cases has been well cared for, gently used and is in very good condition with velvet lining intact, glass intact. There is light scratching on the outer cases, commensurate with age and use. They are perfect for large scale display of a significant number of items, particularly if you want portability. See less
