Round in plan view whiteware ceramic vessel with lid, signed Landing Pots 1988 (artists Madeline Landing & Robert Massaro) The Southwestern inspired incised design with slip decoration is executed in black, tan, brown and light cream white. The inscribed patterning exists on both the exterior of the vessel and interior of the lid. The pot is signed by the artist and dated on the foot of the small pedestal style base.
The lid fits flush with the pot and there are no chips, cracks or repairs to the piece. It is in excellent condition.
The height with lid is approximately 5 inches and the diameter is approximately 7 inches. The opening is 2 5/8", with the diameter of the lid itself being 3 1/4 inches.
