A fine signed English George III salt cellar or sweetmeat dish.
In sterling silver.
By Thomas & Joseph Guest and Joseph Cradock, London.
Dated for 1807.
In the form of a turtle with an open seashell resting on its back. The seashell a rocaille handle and edges.
Marked to the underside of the seashell with a family crest of an armored arm holding a sword and English hallmarks.
Simply wonderful Georgian silver!
