Created in England during the 19th century, this corner cabinet attracts the attention with its complimenting colors and exotic Chinoiserie décor. The bow front features in its upper section two doors with paneled glass, opening to inner shelves offering convenient display opportunities. The central section is made of three drawers while the bottom presents two exquisitely decorated doors with lacquered Chinoiserie motifs, such as figures on bridges and pagodas surrounded by trees. These two doors open to inner shelves offering additional storage opportunities. The two sides on the back are, of course, unlacquered and more distressed.
