A charming antique faux bamboo mirror from France, dating to circa 1900, with warm brown finish and compact proportions ideal for smaller spaces. Measuring approximately 21 inches wide by 26 inches high, this mirror features a finely turned wooden frame that mimics the appearance of natural bamboo, complete with knuckle joints and diagonally cut finials at each corner.
The mirror retains its original back and period glass, showing natural aging and patina consistent with use—subtle mottling and wear that enhance its authenticity. The wood’s finish is darker and richer than some honey-toned counterparts, lending a slightly more refined and grounded look while still evoking the relaxed elegance of late 19th- to early 20th-century interiors.
Its compact size makes it a versatile decorative accent, perfect for powder rooms, entryways, or above a console. Whether integrated into a traditional, English Country, or bohemian-inspired interior, this faux bamboo mirror offers enduring appeal with sculptural detail and historical character.
