The top is a found polished greenery stone, awash with lush green color and beautifully patterned with inclusions of serpentine, jadeite and moss agate. Pockets of dark green-black color fall across the stone’s surface like cast shadows, while hazy blooms of light green float like drifting clouds.

For use as a coffee table, the greenery stone is paired with two sculptural maple wood legs, which have been power-carved into flat, oblong forms and ebonized for a dark finish. A local Chicago artisan carves the maple with handheld tools to create these unique, contoured forms that perfectly balance the colorful stone.

This sculptural table consists of three separate pieces. The stone top is not affixed to the wooden legs and its heavy weight keeps it stable. The stone top weighs approximately 325 lbs. See less
