The front of the bureau has an upper drawer, with two larger lower drawers. There is a raised lip surrounding the drawers of the bureau.

The fall front can be dropped, exposing a warm and rich oak and leather desk, which can be held open by the two smooth pull out supports.
The interior has a bank of 13 different sized drawers, with 8 pigeon holes above, perfect for storing documents, papers, books, or memorabilia.
All of the drawers have excellent matching metal button handles.

The bureau is standing proudly on 4 solid bracket feet, with a raised lower boarder surrounding the bureau.
There is a key present for the front of the bureau, but the lock does not work.

This gorgeous Writing bureau displays timeless Georgian era features that are sure to impress in the home setting.

Overall, this antique writing Bureau is in great condition, with signs of use and veneer wear (as photographed), as to be expected from an item with years of age.
One of the front pull out slat handles is crooked.
There are historical signs of woodworm to the backside that have been professionally treated by the previous owner (see photograph).
There are historical signs of nail damage to the left front and back feet (see photographs).
There is a split to the either side of the bureau, from wood warping over time (see photograph).
