The painting bears a barely legible signature in the lower right corner (see photo), possibly F. Holl. This painting is not authenticated. It is likely by an English painter.

This is a painting of good artistic quality, clearly demonstrating the sensitivity of a 19th-century painter to the depiction of landscapes.
