Outstanding adjustable table mirror, entirely crafted in solid brass. This incredibly stylish and unique piece was produced in Italy during the 1940s by Fontana Arte and its design is attributed to the mastery of Gio Ponti. Completely original and in fabulous condition, this refined mirror features a beautifully shaped brass frame with fluid, organic curves, topped by a delicate decorative crest. The mirror is mounted on an elegant swivel structure that allows for adjustment, and is supported by two tapered, adjustable brass feet. A mirror of superb craftsmanship, its warm golden natural patina has been intentionally left unpolished to preserve its timeless charm and historical value. A highly collectible and versatile piece, perfect for a Mid-Century Modern or Art Deco bedroom, a Hollywood Regency vanity setting, or as a refined accent in any contemporary interior.
