This lamp is an eye catcher! Originally this was a piano lamp, but it was converted to a desk lamp with its steeel shade. The shade has a pattern of wear at its peak, matching it well with the rest of the lamp. The socket is an original Bryant socket, stamped 1910. The shade pivots with a wingnut, allowing you to move the light up and down as you choose. The cool tone of the shade contrasts with the warm tone of the bridge and base. The base has a central medallion motif, and a small vine texture, with ornate scrollwork in the arm. This small, adorable lamp is perfect for a study, office, or even over a piano, as it was originally meant to be!
