The front of the bureau displays a wonderful rich mahogany patination, adding to the antique style.

The fall front to the bureau can be dropped, and can be held open by the two smooth pull out supports.

The interior has a gorgeous gilt embossed leather worktop, with 7 large open pigeon holes and two small side drawers, perfect for storing documents, papers, books, or memorabilia.

The front of the bureau has a small upper drawer, with three larger lower drawers. All of the drawers are finished with figured metal handles and a raised lip surrounding the drawers.

Stood proudly on 4 solid figured feet, with a front curved overhang to fiinish.

There is no key present for any of the locks.

Overall, this Vintage writing Bureau is in great condition, with slight signs of use and veneer wear (as photographed), as to be expected from an item with years of age.

There are obvious signs of wear to the leather top (see photographs).
The front metal key hole has been historically broken to the top, but this doesn't affect the desk's functionality.
