Rare, large and especially lovely antique 19th-Century French majolica footed shell shaped serving bowl, ideal for display of fruit as well as on its own.
This beautiful platter has finely crafted and hand painted details, in gorgeous coral, salmon and pink colorways and charming patina.
Discolouration and wear is consistent with age and use. Maker's mark "Sarreguemines Majolica" impressed on underside.
