The Victoria & Albert sofa by Moroso is one of the most iconic upholstered items born from the pencil of the famous English designer Ron Arad. The name is an ironic and affectionate reference to the two British rulers of the nineteenth century, but also a tribute to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London which, in 2000, the year of production of this sofa, had dedicated a large personal retrospective to Arad. The shapes of Victoria & Albert are those of a sinuous ribbon that recalls the shape of the symbol of infinity, thus leaving a hollow space between the seat and back.
