An oil on canvas painting of a town by the American artist Harry Pattison (born 1952). The realistic landscape depicts a small town with dirt roads and multiple small houses. A mountainous landscape is in the background with white clouds in the sky. The work is signed "H Pattison" to the lower right corner.
Harry Pattison was born in Chicago and followed in his father, Abbott Pattison's, footsteps in pursuing an artistic career. Harry attended multiple art schools, including Rockford College, The University of New Mexico, and The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. His work is inspired by illusionary dioramas that he grew up admiring while visiting The Field Museum of Natural History.
